COMPETITION RULES
THE RULES OF THE KITCHEN
Simple, fair and designed to let your cooking do the talking.
Open to All Skill Levels
Home cooks, culinary students, and amateur chefs are all welcome. No professional credentials are required to participate.
Time Limit: 45 Minutes
Each participant will have 45 minutes to prepare, cook, and plate their dish. The Speed Round category has a reduced time limit of 30 minutes.
Ingredients Provided
Core cooking ingredients will be provided by the organizers. Participants may bring up to three personal specialty ingredients to enhance their dish.
Judging Criteria
Dishes will be evaluated based on:
Taste – 50%
Presentation – 30%
Creativity & Originality – 20%
The judges' decision will be final.
One Category Per Participant
Each registration allows participation in one competition category only. To compete in another category, a separate registration is required.
Hygiene & Safety First
All participants must maintain proper kitchen hygiene throughout the competition. Hairnets, aprons, and food safety guidelines must be followed at all times.

Category draw, kitchen allotment, event schedule, and briefing document will be shared with all registered participants.

Competition Day
Participants should arrive by 8:30 AM for check-in. The competition runs until 4:00 PM, followed by the prize distribution ceremony at 3:30 PM.

Awards & Closing Ceremony

Who can participate in the competition?
The competition is open to anyone aged 18 and above who has a passion for cooking. Whether you’re a home cook, culinary student, or professional chef, you’re welcome to participate.
Can I bring my own ingredients?
Yes — you may bring up to 3 personal special ingredients. All other ingredients will be provided by Fusion Fiesta Lounge at no extra cost. A full ingredients list is shared with registered participants 3 days before the event.
How will the winners be selected?
Entries will be judged by a panel of experienced chefs based on taste, presentation, creativity, technique, and adherence to the competition guidelines.
Can I edit my registration after submitting it?
Yes. If you need to update your personal details or change your selected dish before the registration deadline, simply contact our support team, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
Can I participate in more than one category?
Yes! Each category requires a separate registration and fee. Time slots are structured to avoid overlap — confirm with us on WhatsApp before registering for multiple categories.
